All of
the tights shown here are in excellent to like new condition,
and the feet are very clean. The tights that were faded or
showed wear (thinned) were given to charity.
Most of the tights sold here are Old Navy brand, which run
about $8-12 a pair. They are THE BEST tights ever - thick,
warm, really durable, fade very little, and hold their shape.
I had other brands of tights, but they were all given away
to charity for they just did not hold up.
I cannot
get them to photograph well. I tried getting a close-up to
show the color and texture, but it just won't work. So you
will just have to trust me on the color. The glare from the
camera makes these look faded, but they are not - truly brilliant
and like new in appearance.
Make sure that when you launder these tights that you use
the hand wash cycle (I put them in a zip-up fine washables
bag to avoid snags) and line dry them. I clip them to a hanger
with clothespins to dry. Do not put them in a clothes dryer
for they will distort and shrink.
When sizing, keep in mind that tights run big until the baby
gets really chunky. At that point you might have to go up
a size to fit their chunky thighs. My girls could not fit
into the newborn (0-6 mo) tights until about 2 months old
- just too short and skinny. Your daughter should fit into
the tights until the end of the size range (6-12 months tights
fit 6-9 and 12 mo clothes).
