Regarding teaching equipment and childrens books, most of the items sold here were collected and then never used in a classroom setting, or were used in a home daycare setting with only a handful of well-supervised kids. You can read more details about the childrens books here.

Regarding clothing sold, the items are not daycare items or consignment items. I have been out of the daycare business working solely as a webmaster for eight years now. I buy nearly everything for my five children new or like new off eBay (mostly from the funds made at this resale shop). I tend to overshop for certain things that they need, and then wean out the closets once they get too full. My children truly have a ridiculous amount of clothing. The clothes that are worn for school and/or play are handed down and then given away to charity or neighbors. Only near perfect items are sold here. I do not sell clothing that is shrunk, torn, not in working order, worn to play condition, or stained. You can assume that all clothing items are in excellent, gently worn condition, unless noted otherwise in the description.

Regarding storage of the items sold here, I live in Michigan which is a dry climate - no funky odors or mildew. We do have a spider problem at storage over long periods of time, so all items are protected. Everything sent to storage is kept in either heavy duty dark colored Rubbermaid tubs or are sealed in ziploc bags or garbage bags (whatever it takes), and then stored in Banker boxes.


CONSIGMENTS

I do NOT accept items for consignment nor do I purchase items outright for resale here, for two reasons. First, the profit margin is so low that it is simply not worth my time. By the time that I pay you a meager fee for the items, there would be no profit. Second, I simply do not have the time to sell other people's stuff right now. Taking photos, editing the photos, writing up descriptions, and then putting all of that online in a webpage format with a shopping cart code is extremely time consuming.

PAYMENTS

Payments are accepted via Paypal only. No money orders, cashiers checks, or school purchase orders. PayPal allows you to pay securely online via American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, or echeck. If you pay by echeck your order will not be shipped until the echeck clears.

You will make TWO payments for your order. The first payment is for merchandise cost (shopping cart total) only. The second payment consists of a $1.00 shipping/handling fee plus the true cost of shipping according to the USPS shipping charts, based on your zip code and the weight of the package. Delivery confirmation and online package tracking is included in this fee.

QUANTITY

Only one of each item available for sale unless noted otherwise in the listing. If more than one person purchases an item then the item goes to the first person to complete the sale including shipping costs. Subsequent person will be issued a refund towards their purchase price in Paypal. I do my best to take down sold items as quickly as possible to avoid this confusion.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

No refunds or exchanges. Everything is sold as is. I don't purposely lie or mislead about any items sold here. Clothing is listed by the size that it fits/measures (not what it is labeled) so keep that it mind. For clothing items I usually include the fabric content and measurements with the description, so read carefully. You can assume that everything is in excellent condition unless I note otherwise in the description.
