Harry Potter Diagon Alley Board Game

Mattel, for 3-6 players, ages 8 years and older. Includes gameboard, laminated instruction sheet, 1 closed sign, 2 dice, 6 hats to use as movers, 6 laminated trunk cards, 46 laminated diagon alley cards, 60 coins total in 4 designs, and 36 trunk items. In this board game, players race around to visit the six shops in Diagon Alley and load their trunks with required school supplies: an owl, wand, potion bottle, robe, book, and cauldron. Move fast, though, because items sell out, stores close, and opponents can slow you down--or, worse, steal your supplies--with magic spells. The use of pointy hats as playing pieces and wizard's money from Gringott's Bank gives added fun to the game's theme.

Condition of box and pieces is near perfect. Only sign of wear that I noted is closed sign which is made of heavy cardboard, and it has minor bends in cardboard (looks slightly used). Retail $45. Weighs 1 lb 13.6 oz.

Harry Potter Wizard Chess

Mattel, for 2 players ages 8 years and older. Includes 32 playing pieces (16 each of 2 colors), chessboard, and laminated instruction sheet. While searching for a current retail price for this game, I noted that the reviews of this game said that the pieces were awesome replicas of the wizard chess game shown in the movie, both in color and in detail.

Condition: chessboard, instructions, and pieces in perfect condition. Box has been taped at the corners. Retail $20. Weighs 2 lb 0.5 oz.
